NEUROTIC initiated activities, as “Breakdown”, in 1999. 2001 - Recorded the first demo. «Incognita» has eight original tracks plus four live tracks that were later recorded in the debut concert - AlémRock 2001, a local band contest. 2002 - Recorded a new demo with three tracks. «Neurotic» has a much more Death Metal approach then «Incognita». This demo is the turning point on the band’s style. Band name changes to NEUROTIC. 2003 - Recorded the first album. «The Rebirth of Sin» is recorded in LAC in Lagos, under the production of Ângelo Rodrigues – like in all the previous material of the band. 2004 - National label Dark Music Productions / Nebula Records releases the «The Rebirth of Sin» album. 2005/2006 - After a mini-tour with Primordial [Irl], Decapitated [Pol] and The Firstborn [Por], bass player Ino Detelic departs the band for academic reasons. Alexandre Ribeiro (member of Bleeding Display and Grog) joins NEUROTIC, as a live guest bass player, performing another show with Primordial [Irl] and Geasa [Irl] and, further after, a show with Testament [Us]. [IN]HUMAN EP recordings begin. After the drum tracks were complete the recordings were halted and the band kind of hibernated. 2008 - NEUROTIC back from the dead! Stay tuned!
